A human rights based approach is used to analyze the needs via a problem-solution tree. There is also advocacy for beneficiaries who might need assistance in seeking other professionals to assist them.
Mental Health Dignity Foundation (MHDF) seeks to assist individuals with psychological, social and economic issues. There are three main approaches that MHDF uses when assisting people with various needs.
Psycho-Social Intervention
MHDF offers nonviolent-communication sessions, Alternatives to Violence Programming and mediation amongst parties who are in conflict.

Psychological Intervention
This is done through narrative exposure therapy (NET), relaxation exercises, peace circles and interpersonal therapy. The approach varies depending on the clients needs.
